Meet Dr. Reza

Long before I became a doctor, I was just a twelve-year-old boy watching my mother suffer.
For nearly two years, she battled severe, debilitating digestive issues, relentless bloating, pain, and constant distress that stole her quality of life. Traditional doctors believed damaged portions of her intestine were to blame, so she underwent multiple invasive surgeries to remove them.
Yet, after every procedure, the pain returned.
I remember sitting in the cold clinic room after one of her follow-up visits, looking at her doctor, and asking a question that seemed painfully simple to my twelve-year-old mind:
"If you removed the part that was causing the problem, why is she still in pain?"
The doctor paused and admitted that her digestive tract might not be the real issue after all; it was likely her nervous system driving the breakdown.
So I asked: Then why don't you fix her nervous system?
He looked down at me and said, There is no treatment for that.
I couldn't accept that. I don't believe you, I replied. If you know what's driving the problem, there has to be a way to help her.
He looked at me with a mixture of exhaustion and seriousness and said something that changed the trajectory of my life forever.
Why don't you become a doctor, heal your mother, and tell me what the answer was?
Without hesitation, I looked him in the eye and said, I will.
The Question That Defined My Life
That conversation became my life's mission.
Years later, after graduating from high school with a background in human biology, I moved to Los Angeles, earned my doctorate in Eastern and Oriental Medicine, and spent decades immersing myself in human biology, clinical nutrition, functional lab analysis, neuroscience, and neuroendocrine physiology (how the nervous system and hormonal systems interact under stress).
I didn't collect these disciplines just to put diplomas on a wall. I hunted for answers because I kept seeing patients who looked just like my mother—people who had done everything right, followed every doctor's order, undergone procedures, taken the prescriptions, and were still left suffering with no real answers.
I realized that modern healthcare is built to ask: What is the symptom, and what pill or surgery covers it up?
The memory of my mother taught me to ask a completely different question:
Why is this happening in your unique body, and what biological obstacle is keeping you from healing?
The Promise I Refused to Forget
Years after moving to the United States, I returned home to Iran to visit my family.
I had been away for a long time, and I had no idea that my mother was still trapped in the same cycle of severe bloating, gas, and digestive distress that had tormented her during my childhood, despite all the medical interventions she had endured over the years.
By this time, however, I was no longer a helpless twelve-year-old boy. I was a physician with years of clinical training and a completely different lens on human biology.
I evaluated her using the framework I had spent years building. I looked beyond her gut and considered her whole system. Rather than focusing solely on where the symptom was manifesting, I traced the connections across her physiology. Based on my assessment, I recognized that her liver, gallbladder, and metabolic pathways were playing a central, hidden role in her digestive breakdown.
That was one of the most vital lessons of my career: The location where a symptom appears is rarely where the root problem originates.
I designed a personalized protocol specifically for her body, combining targeted dietary modifications, whole-food nutritional supplements, tailored herbal support, and acupuncture treatments to support the healing process.
During my month-long stay, I closely monitored her progress day by day. Within weeks, the severe bloating and gas began to resolve. By the time I returned to the U.S., her digestion was transforming. Several months later, she said that her quality of life was completely restored.
In that moment, a profound sense of peace washed over me. I realized that the promise I made as a young boy in that clinic room had quietly guided every single step of my life.
An Unexpected Full Circle
When I returned to Iran a year later to spend some quality time with my family, something extraordinary happened.
The doctor who had treated my mother when I was a child, and who had become a family friend over the decades, had heard about her recovery. He asked to meet with me in his clinic.
When I walked in, he looked at me in disbelief. He couldn't wrap his mind around the fact that a twelve-year-old boy had actually kept the promise he made as a child. I smiled and said, Of course I did. She is my mother.
But our meeting didn't end there. As a physician who truly cared about his patients, he genuinely wanted to understand what I had discovered.
He asked if I would sit with him and review some of his most complex, unresponsive chronic cases.
For two weeks, I sat side by side with her doctor. I voluntarily donated my time, reviewing patient histories, looking for underlying patterns, and sharing the functional perspective I had spent my life developing.
That experience reinforced a truth I hold deeply to this day: True healthcare is not about one system being right and another being wrong. It is about continuing to ask better questions.
I have immense respect for conventional physicians who dedicate their lives to saving others. My struggle has never been with doctors; it has always been with the limitations of a healthcare system that lacks the time, functional tools, or framework to uncover the unique person behind the symptoms.
I built my practice on the promise I made in that doctor's office when I was 12 years old: to look deeper, connect the missing dots, and treat the person behind the illness—not simply look at one symptom, one laboratory value, or one diagnosis in isolation.
The human body is far more intelligent and interconnected than that. It possesses a remarkable, built-in capacity to self-regulate and repair. My role as a doctor is not to force or replace that intelligence. My role is to uncover and remove whatever is interfering with it.
That core philosophy became the foundation of the Dr. Reza Wellness Method™. That methodology powers The Dr. Reza Transformation Program™, a comprehensive, highly personalized process designed to help you understand your unique biology, identify hidden biological obstacles, and support your body's innate ability to thrive.
What This Means for You
If you are reading this page right now, chances are you've felt the exact same frustration my mother did.
You've been passed from specialist to specialist. You've been told your lab results are "normal," even though you feel far from normal. Or worse, you've been told you just have to live with it.
I want you to know something very clearly: I do not accept "there's nothing else we can do."
Your body isn't failing you, and your symptoms aren't an illusion. They are biological signals—a cry for help from a complex system that may be missing the right conditions to repair itself.
Whenever you're ready, I am here to help you discover what your body has been trying to tell you all along, and I promise to treat your health with the same dedication I brought to my own mother's care.
